The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority has announced a partnership with North American Technician Excellence (NATE) and the availability of a new program called Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning - Training, Education, Certification & Awareness (HVAC-TECA) across the New York Energy Smart territory. The program is designed to increase NATE-recognized training opportunities and the number of NATE-certified technicians across the state. It is also designed to introduce more technicians to building science, so contractors will see the value of seeking accreditation through the Building Performance Institute. |
